Anthony’s ASFTM Bio
Anthony Masington is a lover of all genres of music, especially electronic. It wasn’t until 2007 that A Scream For The Memory was imagined. Having never listened to Electronica before doing ASFTM, Anthony had a few acoustic songs that were pretty poppy, he shared them with friend Michael Andrade. At the time he joked around and said he should make the songs into electronica songs such as The Postal Service. Anthony, having no idea what they sounded like, turned to friend Gary Klatt AKA Copy Your Idols and listened to what he was doing at the time. Taking the suggestion seriously, Anthony got hard to work on the tunes, and to his surprise they actually sounded good to him. He grew a fast love and appreciation for the style. Shortly after Michael and Anthony were hangin round the Trevose hood and Michael made the comment so how’s A Scream for The Enemy going? That was the birth of A Scream For The Memory. Not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve, Anthony has completed and released his first ASFTM record POP! Goes The No-Wave on Itunes back in September 2010. He is currently working on the newest Pilgrims, Nomads, and Artisans!!! Featuring many of artists and friends. This new release is truly going to be an adventure and a party.
